Leah Sweeney, MS, LPC, NCC

Leah Sweeney, LPC, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey and a National Certified Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Temple University and her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University.  

Sweeney has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults across outpatient, in-home, and school-based settings. She utilizes a person-centered approach focusing on empathy, collaboration, and client empowerment.  

Sweeney has completed specialized trainings in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She also has extensive experience providing crisis intervention and stabilization services.
